How many times have you been struggling or questioning yourself: "How am I gonna wear this dress???" I have this kind of question from my girlfriends sometimes too. So... I decided to have this post about three different ways to wear a simple dress.
I bought this black dress a month ago from BCBG. I always like dresses with asymmetrical details and this dress has the asymmetrical hem at the front and back. Plus....it's a very simple one, I know I can dress it up or down easily by combining different styles of accessories. Mentioning about accessories, ladies... please pay more attention to it because it's the best way for you to save shopping cost but still have a completely new, amazing look from the same outfit. That's my way to dress: A simple outfit with signature accessories to create your personal style.
Another thing I like about this dress is it's BLACK. I can wear it with all kind of bright/dark colors, depends on my mood and where I'm going.
Coming back to the main topic, here is the first look of this dress. I use bohemian style accessories to create the chilled, unique look. You can have this look for brunch on a beautiful sunny day or for the first date to impress the guy with your singular style. ;-)
The new season is coming so don't hesitate to bring more bright colors to your look. Let's create a lively, lovely look for the Spring.
The second look is the look for a working weekday. With a cropped blazer, skinny belt and gemstone necklace, you will look chic, fashionable but still very professional for the office. Further than that, you're also ready for a happy hour drink after work and maybe a fun night after without worrying that you look too serious in the business fashion style. Trust me ladies, you'll be the center of attention during happy hour ;-)
Oh, one more thing, once you have struck out with your bold colored outfit, don't be shy to put on shoes with floral or bight pattern details. It's just a little touch but it will complete your look impressively.
And the last look.... It's gonna be the look for a formal dinner night out. Again, change the accessories, this time you will need a medium belt, a few layers for the necklace and, of course, a bright clutch, then you're all set. Now, go out and enjoy your night. :-)
