Two years ago, after watching a couple of episodes of Mad Men, I was so inspired by the classic fashion style of the 60's. I asked my favorite photographer Pham Hoai Nam and extremely talented make up artist Cu Ti to help me pull out an outdoor photo shoot in downtown Ho Chi Minh city about this subject. I was the stylist for myself with my black dresses and the hair, make up of the 60's. The photo shoot was so much fun, we took way too many pictures than we planned and to be honest, I loved every single one of it. Thank you so much Bac Nam and Cu Ti for helping me capture the great moments and create my perfect 60's look.
I never thought two years later, the 60s style is becoming one of the main trends in fashion. After taking the class trend and design 3 quarters ago, it totally makes sense to me now.
Of course, as all the fashionistas in the world, I admire and respect Coco Chanel with all my heart for her talent and characteristics. Who would have thought that "The Little Black Dress", the most simple thing among all kinds of garments, has become a significant fashion icon that every woman should have at least one in their closet. It always brings you the classy and fabulous look, exactly as the only two things of a woman is as Coco Chanel's opinion.
