Wrapping leather skirt for winter!!!
With a colorful basic Zara top and a vest cardigan, I'm having a fun, edgy look.
The bright colors of the top and the texture of the skirt create such a cool combination.
Don't forget the accessories. For winter, scarves, head band or hat are my "to go" accessories.
Still cold? The trench coat will be your friend. Make sure it's longer than the skirt. ;-)
And here's my complete look with this leather skirt: Playful, Simple and a little Edgy. Thanks Eli Corbin for the photograph.
I had a tour through couple stores in downtown yesterday to see what is new out there, and I saw the leopard pencil skirt, my favorite garment. I love the combination of a chambray shirt and an animal print bottom. Something about it that is very chic and classy. Check it out!
Getting together during this time of the year, be it Christmas, NYE, or a birthday party is the perfect opportunity for you to dress up. It does not matter if it is a casual or fancy event, you want to look your best in your festive outfit.
I created these sets below based on the idea of "Dare to Mix". The primary thought behind this is mixing some very basic things together to create something bold and unique. In this post, I want to mix a crew neck, crop top with a sexy skirt.
There are two things I love about these sets.
First, they are both very sexy even though the outfits are just revealing a "minimum" amount of skin, which is just perfect for parties in the winter. :-)
Second, they fit pretty well in almost every body types, except the pear body shape. If you're in this category, which is heavy at the lower body, I recommend you to change the tripes pencil skirt to a plain dark color one, no tripe or shiny fabric. The bold accessories helps to get attention to your top and it is a good trick to balance the proportion of upper and lower body.
The season of joy and love is coming. Be stylist with the feminine look of a beautiful printed sweater, leather skirt or more fun and edgy with plaid pants and chunky sweater. Don't forget to add some accessories. Just a suggestion to begin the season and of course, more are coming!
Be fabulous, be you!
Happy holiday everybody!!!!
I lost count of how many black dresses that I owned. Seriously!!! But still feel like I never have enough. It's such an essential garment, easy to dress up or down. No matter what season, where you are, what kind of occasion, you can easily fit in with a black dress.
I found this one at Loehman's couple weeks ago. Again, it's very simple. I like the detail of leather quilted neckline and hem, perfect look for the Fall.
It's been chilling the last couple days in San Francisco. My favorite season is coming, the season of romance, of beautiful colors from the leaves, and the laughters from holiday parties.
Hello Autumn, great to see you again!
I brought out all my leather clothes and found my favorite one: the leather pencil skirt.
Pencil skirt is always a great item to have for woman with the pear body shape like me. It helps you create the perfect curve for your bottom and flatters your sexy booty.... So why don't we maximize the use of it to make us look better?
For casual look, I like to have my leather pencil skirt with a sweater that has printing or embellishment on it. Don't forget a fun, bold accessories. It's just a little touch but it completes your casual yet chic look.
For workdays, let's mix it with a pattern blouse and a blazer. Tah dah!!!!
Want to step up the game, get the fabulous look for a night out? Wear it with a peplum leather top and a statement necklace. This set will give you a classy yet very feminine look with the perfect curve of your body.
Thank you very much the talented photographer: Angelina Odemchuk for these beautiful photos. Love it :-)
I've been asked quite often by my male friends about how to dress in different styles and feel comfortable with it. Of course every single man wants to look good but it seems more complicated than it should be. Gentlemen, I hear you.
After spending a certain amount of time observing, researching, and learning, I've divided men's style into 4 main categories.
The most expensive = sharp looking style
The Casual Chic
Still want to look sharp but less formal, here we are, The Casual Chic
The Cool Style
If you're a "details guy", care about little touch of accessories to create the different then "The Cool" style is the one for you.
Last but not least, the most casual look but it doesn't mean it less stylist. I call it "The Adventurous"
Which one fits you the best? Can you have more than one personal style? The answer is yes. Absolutely yes. You can have as many styles in your closet as you like. Depending on the occasion, place, or event, choose whatever is most appropriate. Sound good? :-)
Maxi skirt is fun but maxi dress is even better. I'm sure most of you are having at least one maxi dress in your closet. Have you been maximizing the beauty of it? Here are some ideas for you to dress up or down with the maxi dress to refresh your looks.
First is the basic. It's the summer look with bright accessories. If you leave anywhere outside of San Francisco, you can forget about the jacket. If you're in San Francisco, you know what I mean. :-)
Second is the formal look of the maxi dress that I create by changing the accessories. I hope you see the important of having options for accessories, and using it wisely.
Third is the casual look inspired by the "Boho" style. Add a sweater over the maxi dress, you'll be surprised with the outcome. Try it! :-)
The beautiful weather in San Francisco the last couple days is giving me a chance to have fun with my sundress. Love it so much. This is a simple dress, but again, I like to use it in different ways, different situations. Actually it's always the first thing that I consider to buy new clothes. The question is: Can I wear it to different occasions? If the answer is yes, oh gosh.... I have to have it. :-)
In order for me to have a versatile closet, I need basic garments that can be versatile too. Denim jacket and black blazer are two of them. I can wear these two with mostly everything, depend on the occasion, I switch between them. Denim jacket creates a fun, cool look, good for going out both day and night time, while the black blazer is a little bit more formal, perfect for work environment or business meeting.
What is the other option if I don't wanna wear any kind of jacket? Then I'll play with scarf, still fun and feminine. Why don't you try it and let me know what you think? :-)
Just a random thought, it inspired me to create this look. It's perfect for Paris: trendy with vest, romantic with palazzo pants, and of course the touch of red. That's Paris!
